oh donna its just frantic around here, have show in bendigo this weekend, victorian shetland show, going up friday, 4 in work, daughter with chickenpox, school stuff, dentist, santa shopping,,,,,,,,the list doesn't end, so i guess the show with one pony shetti will be like a holiday,,,,cant wait for friday night, settle pony into stable,,,,,then relax!!! until ,,,,,,a.m.

HI DONNA SO SORRY THAT IT TOOK SO LONG 4 ME 2 REPLY JUST FLAT OUT ALL I DID WITH WRANGLER WAS SPENT HEAPS OF TIME WITH HIM AS I HAD 2 CAUSE HE HAD NEVER HAD CONTACT WITH PEOPLE SINCE HE WAS 2DAYS OLD AS THE PEOPLE BREEDS HORSES & ALSO MUSTER WILD GOAT SO MOST OF THEIR FOALS GET TURNED OUT ON 10,000 ACKERS . HE WAS STILL FEEDING ON MUM AT 5MTHS BUT I BROUGHT HIM & WEENED HIM FROM HER AS HE NEEDED 2 BE EDUCATED ABOUT PEOPLE I TOOK MY TIME WITH HIM GOT HIM 2 EXCEPTE ME NEAR HIM TOUCHING HIM IN THE 1ST 2WEEKS THAN MOVED ON 2 LEADING HIM TIEING HIM UP IN THE NEXT 2WEEKS THAN GOT HIM 2 EXCEPT ME PICKING UP HIS FEET & CLEANING THEM THAN GOT HIM USE 2 HOSEING HIM DOWN THAN IN THE LAST 2WEEKS STARTED HIM ON SOME BASIC GROUND WORK EG BAGGING HIM DOING HIS HEAD & THAN PUT A SADDLE ON HIM BUT NEVER GOT ON HIM TILL I BROKE HIM IN AT THE AGE OF 2 AN A HALF YEARS OLD & NOW I OWN A GEM ALL CAUSE I TOOK MY TIME WITH HIM NEVER RUSHED HIM 2 ANYTHING HE DIDNT WANT 2 DO JUST TIME & HE REWARDED ME IN THE BEST WAY EVER BY BEING A GEM MY 3YEAR RIDES HIM ON A LEAD SO JUST SPEND HEAPS OF TIME WITH FEO & DONT RUSH THINGS & YOU CAN START AS EARLY AS 2WEEKS OF AGE IF YOU WISH HOPE THAT HELPS LOVE YOU NEW PIC CHEERS FIN.

how wonderful to be going to melb, for r and r, enjoy the time alone, we dont get it often do we?? i think he is a wonderful entertainer and his show should be great---- a sensible audience too, i imagine have a wonderful weekend, and enjoy yourselves, southbank, casino,art gallery, fed square ect--shopping!! where are you staying?? will talk later about horses, have farrier coming so need to get back to it--- 7 days isn't it!! wish i was you! this weekend anyway

hi donna, lovely to hear from you. i live on 70 acres with highway frontage and state forrest at the back boundry, it is fantastic to work the horses in as there is always something different for them to look at, which keeps them alert. it is great to work the horses i am breaking in as they are so interested in the new surroundings and relax very quickly and enjoy being ridden- so- happy horses pleased to go out. makes it great.
i have 19 horses at the moment with 3 more to come, one came yesterday, one left 2 days ago and my daughter has her ponies in also. our pet kangaroo is not old enough to come on the rides with me yet but my rotti comes all the time and goes for his swim in the damns through the bush, sometimes i wish he would not come as the rides can be a bit exhausting for him. he is on a diet at present so he can get more fit for the extra rides needed in the next few weeks. we have many shows coming up. where do you go riding the trails??
